Government of Uttar Pradesh conducts written UPTET Examinations for the selection of suitable candidates for faculty posts. To qualify this exam, all the applicants need good preparation of the competitive exam. The association has disclosed the UPTET Syllabus 2017.The main purpose of this exam is to determine the intelligence quality of the interested candidates for Teacher posts.Huge number of applicants have been submitted their exam application form and waiting for UPTET Exam pattern 2017

 All the applicants are advised to read the UPTET Paper 1 & Paper 2 Syllabus 2017 for primary and upper primary classes.We know that Syllabus is very important for scoring good marks in the exams as it gives the complete knowledge of topics. Here we have mentioned all the related details about the material for this exam.After getting the exam dates candidates should work hard and take a rest before 2 or 3 days of exam. All concerned applicants of UPTET Exam 2017 can check here complete information regarding UPTET 2017 Study Material.

UPTET Paper I syllabus for Primary Teachers:


Paper 1 will consists of total 5 sections carrying total 30 question with equal marks. Each question will be asked for 1 marks only. So there are total 150 questions in paper 1. Topics covered in this exam are given below.

Section I: Child Development and Pedagogy - 30 Questions
(a) Child Development (Primary School Child) 15 Questions
(b) Concept of Inclusive education and understanding children with special needs
(c) Learning and Pedagogy 10 Questions
Unit-1 (Marks 6)
Child Development: Concept of growth and development, Principles and dimensions of development. Factors affection development (especially in the context of family and school) and its relationship with learning
Role of Heredity and environment
Unit-II (Marks 6)
Meaning and Concept of learning and its processes, Factors Affecting learning
Theories of learning and its implication
How Children learn and think
Motivation and Implications for Learning
Unit-III (Marks 6)
Individual Differences: Meaning, types and factors affecting Individual differences Understanding individual differences on the basis of language, gender, community, caste and religion
Personality: Concept and types of personality, factors responsible for shaping it, Its measurement
Intelligence: Concept, Theories and its measurement, Multidimensional Intelligence.

Unit-IV (Marks 6)
Understanding diverse learners: Backward, mentally retarded, gifted, creative, disadvantaged and deprived, specially-abled
Learning difficulties
Adjustment: Concept and ways of adjustment. Role of teacher in the adjustment
Unit V (Marks 6)
Teaching learning process, Teaching learning strategies and methods in the context of National Curriculum Framework 2005.
Meaning and purposes of Assessment, Measurement and Evaluation Comprehensive and Continuous Evaluation. Constriction of Achievement Test.
Action Research
Right to Education Act 2009 (Role and Responsibilities of Teachers).

Language 1 & 2 Syllabus in details:
This section is divided into six units, each section carrying 5 marks each.
Unit I:
Unseen Prose Passage, Synonyms, Antonyms, Spellings, Word-formation, One Word Substitution.
Unit II:
Unseen Prose Passage, Part of Speech, Tenses, Determiners, Change of Degrees
Unit III:
Framing question including -questions, Active and Passive Voice, Knowledge of English sounds and Phonetic Symbols.
Unit IV: 
Principles of Teaching English, Methods and Approaches to English Language Teaching.

Unit V:
Development of Language Skills, Teaching Learning Materials: Text books, Multi-Media Materials and other resources
Unit VI:
Comprehensive & Continuous Evaluation, Evaluation Language Proficiency.

Section IV: Mathematics - 30 Questions
